Compass Weather

How to use Compass Weather

  1. Compass Weather opens on your default city (Reykjavík until you pick your own). Type a city in the search to switch.
  2. Read the hero: current temperature in Instrument Serif, feels-like, humidity, and the condition gradient shifts depending on sky and time of day.
  3. Scroll the hourly strip below the hero to see the next 24 hours; the bento grid shows UV, pressure, visibility, and humidity at a glance.
  4. Check the 10-day outlook at the bottom; each row shows min/max range as a gradient bar so you can see cold-to-warm transitions.

Why Compass Weather?

Weather apps either overload you with data or over-simplify to the point of uselessness. Compass Weather treats the sky as an editorial composition — Instrument Serif temperatures, a solar arc that shows where the sun is right now, a hero gradient that shifts with the condition. No ads, no push notifications, no account. Data comes from Open-Meteo, which is free for non-commercial use and publishes forecasts from multiple national weather services.
