Each set has an answer list of everyday words, between 26 and 55 of them, and that list sets the word count and the ranks. Any other real English word that fits the rules also counts, as a bonus: it scores points but doesn't change the totals. Bonus words are checked against a 270,000-word dictionary that loads in the background, so an unusual word may be rejected in the first second or two after the page opens.

Is my progress saved?

No. Found words live only in the open page. Reloading starts you back on the first set with a score of zero, and New puzzle clears your words for the next set.

What are the rules?

Every word must be at least four letters long, must include the center letter, and can only use the seven letters on the dial. Letters can be used more than once. In the first set (center F, with A, E, I, N, R, T around it), FAIR, AFTER, and FAINTER all count. Proper nouns are rejected.
